Feeling upon waking: Questioning
I dreamed last night that I was running away from someone through the junk-filled yards of an unfamiliar neighborhood. It was daytime yet darkish and kind of Alice in Wonderlandy feeling. As I ran through one very junky area I saw an unexpected white opening to my left. It was a very narrow, very white, bright stairwell with a ceiling half my height.
I turned into it and started running up the stairs and away from those who were chasing me. Almost immediately I came to a little door and quickly opened it, ran through, closed and locked it. On the other side there was a small door to the left going into some other hallway. I ran up the stairs and opened many other doors with the same profile. As I locked them, I smiled and knew that it was getting harder for those pursuing me to catch me. With more doors came choices to lock or leave them unlocked after passing through. I chose not to lock every door because I was in such a hurry to put distance between me and those pursuing me. I knew their weapons could not get through all the doors, locked and unlocked. I never chose to pursue a side door, only to keep going up what seemed like a turret-shaped stairwell. Then I moved to another dream.

Our Idea
Before we start sharing dreams, we wanted to share why we started this blog. It seems whenever we get together with our believing friends, someone has a dream to share. Of course, many dreams are personal - helping us to understand ourselves and who we are or how we are relating. Dreams can help us discern situations or give us direction. Some dreams encourage; others provide insight into spiritual realms. Less often, we receive dreams that are meant to be shared.
Jason and I have discussed having a common place to share dreams with others and receive comments and interpretation. We also love the idea of having a dream blog because it is a place to journal our dreams. We hope this can be a safe place for you to share your dreams as well.
